Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Orisweep (package com.orisweep.cleaner) handles information for file organization, device status, local security checks, advertising and related settings. File and security checks mainly run on your device. Ads, privacy choices and rule updates you request use network services. Contact details are listed in the final section. This version has no app account registration, cloud scanning or online feedback submission.
1. Files and why they are processed
When you start a scan, review or cleanup, the app reads accessible file names, paths or document addresses, types, sizes and modification times to categorize and display files for selection. Duplicate verification, APK checks and known-malware fingerprint matching also read accessible file contents and calculate hashes locally. Sources include the app cache, files or folders you select, and shared storage accessible after authorization. Deletion requires your selection and confirmation. These features do not upload file contents or hashes to an operator server or pass them to the advertising SDK.
2. App information and device status
For security checks, the app reads names, package names, versions, installation sources and dates, signing information and permissions for installed apps that Android makes visible. These support local risk hints and checks of readable installation packages. With install-time checks enabled, system installation or update events trigger a local permission check and a saved summary; you can turn this off in settings. Device status features read storage, memory, battery level and temperature, charging and thermal status, power-saving mode and secure screen-lock status. These features do not send app lists, check results or device readings to the advertising SDK or an operator server.
3. Local settings, records and feedback
The app stores scan options, ad personalization preferences, folder access information, allowlists and activity records on the device. Records contain the operation type, time and result summary; some summaries may include app names. Feedback categories, descriptions and optional phone numbers or email addresses that you save remain local for later editing. They are not automatically sent to support. Contact details are optional; avoid entering passwords, payment details or other unnecessary sensitive information. These records and drafts are not passed to the advertising SDK.
4. Permissions and access
You authorize file or folder access through the system picker. All-files access requires separate approval in Android settings and supports scanning and managing eligible shared storage. Refusal or revocation limits the related scans without preventing features that do not need that access. The permissions page lets you revoke saved folder grants. The protection tips page checks usage-access, overlay and notification permission status and links to system settings. These controls currently do not read your app usage-event history or enable overlay monitoring or security notifications. Cleanup and check features do not read contacts, SMS, call logs, microphone, camera or precise location, or gain access to private chats, passwords, wallets or internal account data in other apps.
5. Google ads and privacy choices
The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for ads and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for privacy choices. It requests a privacy-status update at app launch, and ad requests depend on the resulting permission to request ads. Google discloses processing IP addresses and approximate location, identifiers such as advertising and app set IDs (and, where applicable, identifiers related to signed-in accounts), interactions such as launches or ad clicks, and performance diagnostics for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Processing depends on device, region and privacy choices. Ad personalization defaults off. This requests non-personalized ads; it does not stop all advertising data processing. Manage personalization in Ad settings; privacy options appear when required. Android settings may also let you reset or delete the advertising ID. 6. Network requests for rule updates
When you request a detection-rule update, the app downloads predefined public ESET research fingerprint files over HTTPS from raw.githubusercontent.com, operated by GitHub. GitHub receives connection information such as your IP address, requested resource and a fixed application request identifier. The request does not upload your files, file hashes, app lists, check results or feedback. Downloaded rules and check times are stored locally; existing local rules remain available without requesting an update. 7. External apps and disclosure
File and security-check data are not used for ad targeting by this app. The app does not sell or provide local file contents, scan lists or feedback drafts to advertisers. Google and GitHub receive the information described above for their respective services. If you choose to preview a file in an external app, Android grants that viewer temporary read access to the selected file. A cloud document provider may use its own network services. Following an ad or external link also involves processing by that provider. Review the relevant privacy notice before proceeding.
8. Storage and retention
Local settings, allowlists, feedback drafts and downloaded rules remain in app storage on your device until changed, removed, cleared with app data or uninstalled. History retains up to the latest 100 records; new entries replace those beyond the limit. You can also clear history. Temporary scan lists and results support the current operation and are not stored as cloud records. Android manages folder grants, which can be revoked separately. Android automatic backup is disabled for the app. Google and GitHub handle the data they receive under their policies, purposes and legal obligations, including retention and processing across regions. Clearing local records cannot delete data held on their servers.
9. Access, correction, deletion and choices
View and clear history in the records page, remove allowlist entries, and edit and re-save feedback and optional contact details. The feedback page has no separate button to delete the entire draft. To remove all local drafts and settings, clear app data in Android storage settings or uninstall. This resets app records and preferences, so review the consequences first; it does not restore deleted shared files. Revoke folder grants in the app permissions page and all-files access or other permissions in Android settings. Related features may then be limited. Section 5 describes advertising choices. There is no registered app account to close. Applicable law may provide rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or complaint. Contact details for other privacy requests are in the final section; third-party services also provide their own privacy request channels.
10. Information security
Local settings and drafts use Android app-private storage. Rule downloads use HTTPS, and Google advertising SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Scanning stays within system-permitted access, and external previews grant temporary read access to the selected file. These measures do not mean that device data has additional app-level encryption or that every environment is completely secure. Protect your device, use a screen lock and grant file access to other apps carefully.
11. Information about minors
Minors should involve a parent or guardian as required by local law when reviewing permissions, advertising choices and data handling. Feedback does not require age, identity documents or school details; do not include unrelated personal information about children. Guardians can use the local controls described here to remove drafts, revoke permissions or stop use. For information already processed by a third-party service, use the privacy channels provided by that service.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated when processing purposes, scope or third-party services change. Material changes affecting privacy rights will be communicated appropriately in the app, with renewed consent where required by law. Reading this policy does not grant every permission or consent to personalized advertising or future data uses; your actual permissions and privacy choices apply.
